Giraud Tool Company Products
Here are some of the products I currently have on the stove. If you like what you see, drop me a line.
The first of my offerings, the premier shooters spotting scope stand. Made from anodized 6061-T6 aluminum and 304 stainless steel tubing.
This trimmer is designed to allow the user to trim large volumes of cartridge brass in a timely manner so you can spend more time on the range enjoying the sport, not cooped up in your reloading area. Using a ball bearing supported shaft, the trimmer blade can cut the case to length, chamfer the outside to 45 degrees, and chamfer the inside mouth at 15 degrees in one pass. A spring loaded case locator keeps the brass from contacting the cutting blade until you are ready, a valuable safety feature.
Designed primarily for my own design trimmer and the Gracey trimmer. This blade is a triangular carbide insert ground to my specifications that allow the competition shooter and reloader to eliminate at least two steps in their reloading process. The internal trimming chamfer is set at 15 degrees and can be rotated slightly (depending on your trimmer). This allows you to get that long throat in the case mouth for loading competition projectiles with out scrapping off the moly coating or deforming the base of the bullet.
After the recent events in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania, there has been a renewed sense of patriotism all across the US. In response to several requests, I have added a RED, WHITE, and BLUE motif to the shooting stands as an option. They look quite good really. I was surprised at just how well they came out. On the stand page, I have added a photo of the new color scheme stand for your enjoyment.
I recently came across a lot of the same motors I have been using in my trimmers. Since this is the same motor several shooters online have discussed using for a Gracey Trimmer upgrade, I will offer these as a kit for shooters still using the Gracey Trimmers. See the new link to get more information.
Here is a new arbor press I designed at the request of a few local shooters looking for a more substantial press to seat their long range bullets with Wilson straight line seating dies.
