338 Lapua Case and Bullet Comparator

 Giraud 338 Lapua Comparator - double ended gage that attaches to your caliper to measure and compare cases and projectiles.

The Giraud 338 Lapua Comparator  is designed to facilitate the accurate measurement of cases and projectiles.  These functions are most useful when setting up resizing dies in a reloading press.  When the case is resized only the minimum amount to shorten the case headspace, the cartridge case lasts longer and resizes with less effort than overworking the resizing process.  By monitoring the resizing process, more consistent ammunition can be created.

By using the 338 Lapua Comparator when sorting and seating projectiles, more consistent bullet "jump" and distance to rifling can be maintained.  Having more consistent ammunition is one of the biggest factors in accurate shooting.

Similar gages are available for smaller caliber from several sources, but now Giraud Tool Company brings these same tools to the 338 Lapua reloaders in one simple gage.

Construction

The Giraud 338 Lapua Comparator gage is constructed of 303 stainless and fits most any vernier, dial, or digital caliper.
